8th December 2022
Capping five years of annual workshops, we are inviting all ACARN members, past event participants and new faces to our Virtual Open House event on December 8!
We will kick things off with the release of our new five year strategic plan that sets a foundation for supporting collaborative research, building stronger relationships, increasing extension activities and developing a network model that can be sustained over the long term.
As part of our efforts to increase member-to-member engagement we will be facilitating small group discussions to dig into what’s needed to achieve ACARN’s updated mission to foster collaboration among researchers, government, and producers in order to catalyze effective, research-backed climate solutions for BC food producers.
When registering you can indicate the topics you are most interested in discussing. But, don’t stop there. To complement our small group topics we are inviting participants to bring their ideas and challenges to initiate conversations:
- Bring your elevator pitch for a new collaborative project
- Share a research challenge that you think would benefit from collaboration
- Describe your ideas for new ways to achieve climate-resilience in agricultural systems
Share your ideas in the event registration form and we will do our best to provide you a platform in the small groups to discuss them.
We hope to see you there!
